Meet Cian

I’m Cian Farrell, the Social Democrats Councillor for Dublin’s South East Inner City, which includes Irishtown, Portobello, and everything in between.

I’ve lived, studied and worked in Dublin for the past decade, and have seen first-hand how difficult it is for younger generations to put down roots, buy a home, or start a family.

I believe that Dublin City Council could be doing so much more, particularly in the areas of housing, infrastructure, public transport, and by being more accountable.

I’m hard-working, thoughtful and energetic and I am delighted to have the opportunity to represent you on Dublin City Council.

I joined the Social Democrats because I believe we can do more.

Cian’s Priorities

• Champion the delivery of social and affordable homes.
• Push for better infrastructure.
• Fight for traffic reduction.
• Prioritise improving waste management services.
• Bring energy, enthusiasm and strategic-thinking to Dublin City Council.
